Notice of the Baiyun District People’s Government of Guangzhou on Delimiting the Railway Safety Protection Zones for the Baiyun Airport T3 Transportation Hub Reserved Railway and Other Projects

　　To strengthen the management of railway safety, ensure safe and unblocked railway transportation, prevent accidents, and protect the safety of people’s lives and properties, this Notice is hereby issued in accordance with Article 27 of the Regulations on the Management of Railway Safetyand Article 17 of the Regulations of Guangdong Province on the Management of Railway Safety. The details of the railway safety protection zonesare announced below:

　　1.Starting October 25, 2024, railway safety protection zoneswill be set up on both sides of the Baiyun Airport T3 Transportation Hub Reserved Railway, the Guangzhou-Qingyuan Intercity Railway (Guangzhou Baiyun-Guangzhou North Section), the Fangcun-Baiyun Airport Intercity Railway, and the Guangzhou East-Huadu Tiangui Intercity Railway. Thesezoneswill be marked with stakes. Entities and individuals along theserailway linesshould support and cooperate with the initiative. The mileage of the linesand the scope of the zonesare shown in the table below.

Guangzhou-Qingyuan Intercity Railway (Guangzhou Baiyun- Guangzhou North Section)

Within 10m outward from the embankment toe, cutting slope crest, and the outer edge of railway bridges (including combined rail-road bridges)

　　Notes: The areasextending 50 meters outward from the outer edge of the underground station structures of the Baiyun Airport T3 Transportation Hub Reserved Railway, the Fangcun-Baiyun Airport Intercity Railway, and the Guangzhou East-Huadu Tiangui Intercity Railway arealso included in the railway safety protection zones.

　　2. The ownership of land within the railway safety protection zonesshall remain unchanged.

　　3. Areas falling within both the railway safety protection zonesof the Baiyun Airport T3 Transportation Hub Reserved Railway, the Guangzhou-Qingyuan Intercity Railway (Guangzhou Baiyun-Guangzhou North Section), the Fangcun-Baiyun Airport Intercity Railway, and the Guangzhou East-Huadu Tiangui Intercity Railway and other functional control zones shall be regarded as “dual-protection zones”, where operations will require the approval of relevant authorities according to laws.

　　4. Those who work, live, or engage in other activities along the railway linesshould abide by the Regulations on the Management of Railway Safety, the Regulations of Guangdong Province on the Management of Railway Safety, and other relevant rules to maintain the safety of railway transportation.

　　5. This Notice shall take effect from October 25, 2024, and shall remain valid for 5 years.

　　The Notice is hereby given.
